Apartment Makeover on the Upper East Side – all but the Bath

This Prewar one bedroom apartment was a diamond in the rough!  The kitchen was a typical galley – less then 7 wide x 10 overall –which was challenging because there was only 30 inches between the range and the opposite counter.  It had tons of light because of a large window at the end of the entrance. This custom kitchen included everything a cook needs and is truly a gem!   We removed as much of the  kitchen wall opening as possible, added mirror backsplashes and with careful planning, we completely opened up the space!

We installed new doors, moldings and trim, upgraded electric to 100 AMPs, added the Living Room wall to wall cover with a PTAC under the window and refinished the floors with a custom color of Dark Walnut was the perfect finishing touch along with a complete skim coat and paint job.

It’s wonderful to know that that we created a contemporary, warm abode for this lovely couple..who are thrilled and couldn’t wait to move into their new home!!
